Rick and Sarah are finally married! Because Rick is in the military, they had to postpone their original wedding date. This time, depsite the weather, the wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Heather with Wild Poppy who did the day of coordination and florals for the event. It was a very rainy day but the weather cleared up just in time for us to get a few photos outside before the sun went down and for guests to begin arriving for the service. The reception was a blast with a cool photobooth and departure by pedicab! Congrats Rick and Sarah!

So yesterday I caught Linus and Moo snuggling. Every time I catch them at this it is hilarious because they normally act like they can’t stand each other…so here is a series of shots - the first when I caught them snuggling, the second when they realized I had caught them in the act and taken a photo, and 2 seconds later Linus is getting outta there and Moo decides he doesn’t care all that much! My dogs make me laugh on a daily basis, I love them!

I’m engaged! My boyfriend (or fiance, how strange to say that!) had a late flight in from a business trip on Thursday night (Valentine’s Day). We decided to make a late night (9pm) reservation for one of our favorite Eastside haunts, Primizie (who also does amazing wedding catering by the way). It turned out that all of my friends were also planning to go to Primizie that night, so we decided to make it a group thing. Little did I know, it was all sneakily planned like that so that I wouldn’t suspect anything!
We had our awesome five course meal and then Mike pulled out a piece of paper and began addressing the group and me. He thanked everyone for being there and said some very sweet things about what we mean to each other and the rest is all a bit of a blur. I can’t remember much of what else was said, but thank goodness for the photos. My good friend and amazing photographer Diana Lott pulled out her camera and took photos of the whole thing! Here are a few of my favs…I am so glad my friends were there to witness the proposal and I’m so excited to marry Mike who is the man of my dreams and more.
The ring is amazing - it is a blue aquamarine stone set in a very modern square white gold setting - it’s simple and modern and I love it! I’ll take pics to post soon.
Don’t even ask me about the planning part of it - I’m already stressed about just choosing a date and a location! Thank goodness I’ll have my good friend and wedding coordinator Gina of Clink to help me out!
Meg is such a sweet bride and a pleasure to work with! We shot her bridals at Laguna (a very popular place lately!) and her wedding is in just a few weeks. I’m very much looking forward to it!

I photographed Sandra’s bridals a couple weeks ago at Laguna Gloria. Sandra drove in from out of town so I helped her into her dress. For the first time, I had to button all of those buttons down the back of the dress myself. What a task - now I can sympathize with the helpers when the bride is getting ready! I was happy to help those and Sandra was an easy subject. Sandra and Walker will be married at Red Corral Ranch in the end of March.
