What do you get when you combine a fun, glamorous couple with great taste with the fabulous wedding planners of Red Velvet Events? A wedding like no other, complete with diamond bling and all things glam and elegant. Derrick is a pro football player, and as such didn’t have a lot of free time for planning a wedding with his fiance Tamika, so Red Velvet stepped in to take the helm. Tamika and Derrick had a beautiful ceremony at University Baptist Church and a fabulous 4th of July reception at the Four Seasons. I love all things peacock and blue, so I loved their accents of peacock feathers and pops of color. The cakes by Simon Lee were absolutely amazing, as usual. If you want a showpiece of a cake, look no further! All of the guests had a great time dancing, drinking, eating, and watching fireworks. It was a pleasure to spend my holiday capturing their wedding. Congrats Tamika and Derrick.
