I’m a lucky girl to have been able to witness and document thru photographs the proposals of both of my brothers to their ladies. Brian proposed to Emilie in May of last year, and just a couple of weekends ago my brother Jeremy surprised his girlfriend Lindsay with a surprise trip to Colorado, and a romantic proposal at a beautiful scenic overlook in Rocky Mountain National Park. My husband Mike and I were lucky to be able to make the trip to Colorado with them, and to witness the proposal and celebrate with them. It was such a beautiful moment and I am so happy to have been there to witness it. Lindsay was totally surprised by the trip, and the proposal even threw her off her game! She had no idea that it was about to happen. I love surprises!
We had a fabulous long weekend in Colorado – we stayed in Denver and visited Rocky Mountain National Park and Boulder, and ate at some great restaurants and saw some beautiful scenery. And, to top it off, we managed some quick sledding as well as snowball fights (all coincidentally started by moi!) and we even made a snowman!
So, congratulations on Jeremy and Lindsay! I can’t wait for their hopefully Colorado wedding in the summer of 2011!
