carrie and dave’s engagement photos : austin engagement photos

I had such a great time shooting Carrie and Dave’s engagement photos recently! We almost didn’t think the session would happen as Carrie and Dave live out of state and Dave almost couldn’t make it into town – but it worked out even better than we could have guessed! Carrie and Dave ended up booking their wedding stay at the new fabulous Hotel St. Cecilia (thanks to the advice of their fabulous wedding coordinator, Gina with Clink Events) and so we were able to shoot some of their engagement photos on the grounds. What a great surprise that was! And then we hopped over to Roadhouse Relics for the great Austin shot, and back to South Congress for a few more fun urban shots. Carrie and Dave even offered to get into a huge concrete pipe before I could even ask – they were game for anything! And the last shot was Carrie ripping open Dave’s shirt at his request – what fun! I can’t wait to shoot Carrie’s bridals next!
