I was thrilled when they asked me to do their family portraits again – I loved taking their photos this past spring! This time, they went for a modern grungy look and I loved it – totally up my alley. Here are my favs – isn’t Hendrix ridiculously adorable?!!

We kept in touch, and when Laura and Ian got engaged I was honored and thrilled to be a part of photographing their wedding (in 2007). Then, along came baby Collin, born 10/11/11. He’s perfect and adorable and they are oh so in love with him. I remember that feeling well, it has only grown since Zoey was born. I hope I was able to capture some of that love, and I even got a little smile out of him!

It was great knowing Michelle thru pregnancy as we could commiserate on the trials and tribulations of the pregnancies! So, I was so honored to take their first official family pictures! Ella’s 1st birthday was an amazing winter wonderland with white branches and glitter everywhere, beautiful floral arrangements in shades of blues and pinks, an ice sculpture, amazing bites by 2 Dine 4, a cupcake bar, a vintage high chair, handmade hot chocolate favors, and a little snow baby named Ella. Happy Birthday Ella – you’re amazing and beautiful! Now, onto the pics!

I first shot Jenny’s best friends wedding several years ago, and then Jenny, dissatisfied with her own wedding photos by another photographer, hired me for an anniversary portrait session with her husband Matt. Then, when Jenny’s sister Julianne got engaged to Josh, I was so happy when they asked me to shoot their wedding! Now, Jenny and Matt have had a beautiful daughter, Scarlett (coincidentally she was born just less than a week before my own daughter Zoey was born!) Scarlett wasn’t exactly happy about taking photos, but we sure did try and I think we got a few cute ones of her, and she’s pretty adorable whether smiling or crying! Here are a few of my favs from their family session and extended family session!

Last year, I photographed Donna’s birthday celebration, and this year I was honored to photograph the annual fundraiser for their charity organization, The Glimmer of Hope Foundation and also Jake’s amazing Bar Mitzvah celebration. Unfortunately, regulations prohibited photographs of the actual ceremony, however I was lucky enough to be able to photograph the amazing celebration party at The Four Seasons put on by none of than the ladies of Caplan Miller Events. And wow, what a celebration it was – the design and decor was amazing, the food to die for, the music so fun and varied (The Spazmatics as well as DJs) and of course the Berbers and all of their guests had an amazing time, and I think myself and my second shooter Michael were able to capture that in the photos! They even had a fun arcade room for the kids (and some adults!) as well as a hat making station and glow in the dark body paint.You couldn’t have been bored if you tried!
