They held their ceremony on a lovely misty Friday evening at Laguna Gloria, and then a lovely intimate dinner with close family at Trio Four Seasons. Emily and Laszlo are both veterinarians (and met thru their profession) so we incorporated horses into a few of their portraits. Congrats Emily and Laszlo!

Adrienne and Rodger are both park rangers and love nature and are huge proponents of recycling and upcycling. They started with a morning ceremony with a hike into a clearing (Rodger built the benches himself!) for the ceremony, some portraits, and a leisurely hike back out. Then, the late afternoon/evening brought a small fall themed gathering at the Indus Valley Institute with a lovely dinner, cake, and even baking bread in an oven that Rodger made himself. Rodger created the platform for their dinner tables with used wooden pallets and used planks from old fences. It was such a lovely wedding to document and I really enjoyed my time and all of their family and friends.

And this wedding brought a reappearance of the cutest dancing grandma ever – seriously. I want to put her in my pocket. Dancing grandparents make me smile! Laura and Chris are super fun and silly together, and I love that. And,  they have a love of rock climbing and Krispy Kreme donuts (those two totally go hand in hand, don’t they?) :) Here are my favorites from their fun wedding!

OUR PICTURES ARE AMAZING!!  They always say not to get your hopes up for stuff you really want, but I really had my hopes up for our wedding pictures.  I cared more about good pictures than I did most everything else.  But, you blew my high hopes completely out of the water and into the heavens!  They are absolutely beautiful.  Each one has so much emotion, and truly captures each individual’s character and personality.  You have such unique perspectives, and creative execution, and managed to capture such amazing special moments. (the picture of my bridesmaids playing Rock Band- hilarious! what a moment!) You are truly an artist Heather! We are loving re-living our special evening through your images, and cannot wait to see more!  Thank you times infinity!

Iberostar Cozumel was very low key and laid back during the time we were there, it was so relaxing and beautiful! A few things  about the photos:

The kitty towards the very end was the mascot for the wedding apparently – cats were everywhere hanging out at the resort (what a life!) but this kitty played in the reception area all night.

The dead tree with shells on it is such a cool thing – all the couples who get married at the resort sign a shell and hang it on the tree!

Erin and Andy and their family and friends really are as awesome as they look in photos.

Erin and Andy and a bunch of their bridal party and friends jumped in the pool at the end of the wedding. Reference above “awesome” note.

We went to Estes Park, Colorado for a week in July to participate in my brother’s wedding and to have a little family vacation. Unfortunately, Mike had major work obligations so he was only about to be with us for a couple days of the trip, but Zoey’s grandparents got to spend a lot of time with her which they loved. We flew into Denver where we stayed for a day (and drove down to Colorado Springs to see the Garden of the Gods, which you will see in the first set of photos). Then, we drove up to Estes Park, stopping in Boulder for lunch on the way. Estes Park was absolutely amazing, perfect weather (especially compared to Austin at the time), and just so pretty everywhere0 There is not a bad view any which way you look! We drove up into Rocky Mountain National Park a couple times and even got to see snow! In July! Jeremy and Lindsay’s wedding was beautiful and amazing and so much fun! So much fun in fact that my aunt Karen fell and broke her wrist! It was quite the fun and eventful reception. All in all, we were in Colorado for a week and loved every minute of it! It was so nice to spend some quality time with family. Here are some pics! (since it was my brother’s wedding and I was a bridesmaid, I didn’t take a ton of photos, but of course I couldn’t help but take some!). My good friends Diana M Lott and Stacy Sodolak were the official photographers, and I imagine they will be posting their favs online very soon!
