We hung out in St Louis for a few days and did all of the fun touristy stuff (The Arch of course, and the City Museum which is completely amazing)…and then after the wedding we took a train (fun!) to Chicago and spent the weekend there. Mike and I have ALWAYS wanted to visit Chicago and we loved it. Can’t wait to go back. It was actually a really blustery chilly weekend so hopefully next time we will visit in the summer. Here are a few photos of our travels!

When we got to Chicago we took an evening architure tour on the river. Mike and I both love architecture so it was very interesting to us. Though it was SUPER cold, especially coming from mild Austin weather.

Those cups of hot chocolate in our hands may be spiked with booze. It was what we needed to deal with an unruly almost 2 year old who was about sick of traveling!

Mandi and Shaun just had their second child, a son named Sawyer. It was just a few weeks ago that I saw them to photograph maternity and family portraits for them and Sawyer is already here! He is so adorable, with a head full of hair (just like Ella) and the cutest little face. Congratulations Mandi and Shaun on your new addition, and to Ella who I know will be a fabulous big sister!

Since then, so much has happened and I’m so honored to have been a part of it personally and photographically for the Harris family! Mandi got pregnant, and Ella was born. Ella is now almost 2 1/2 years old, and Ella will have a little brother in the next month! And look how much Ella has grown since last year when we did their family portraits! Here are my favorites from their session out at the Wild Onion Ranch and with the Fiesta, one of the really cool vintage cars in their collection.
